
Upon completion of this training, delegates will have the knowledge and ability to manage the legionella risks in their building’s hot and cold water systems, and other risk systems. The course looks at the current regulatory framework of the country where it has to be implemented and also looks at the industry standards. They will have an understanding of the process to carry out and review their legionella risk assessments. Develop a water safety plan to implement control strategies to remove, maintain, monitor, record, and conduct audits.
Classroom-based training utilising PowerPoint, discussions, and case studies will provide delegates with an understanding the of importance to manage temperature, corrosion, scale, biofouling, and bacteria in hot and cold water, other risk systems, and evaporative cooling systems. The course will also cover the importance of a water sampling plan and methods for collection, analysing the results, and implementing a plan of action.
