Through this message, we inform you about the actions we have taken to ensure the well-being of our colleagues and customers, in response to the growing threat from the Coronavirus.
Daily management
Shortly after the coronavirus outbreak in China, we began reviewing and implementing features as part of our overall business continuity plan. This plan describes specific steps that SGI Compliance has and continues to take to protect the health and wellbeing of employees and customers during a pandemic, while remaining able to maintain fundamental operations and continue to provide essential services to our customers. We have coronavirus action teams in each of our countries that meet daily to monitor, take action and adapt to the situation.
Safety of our employees and customers
We have taken the following actions within our company to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees and customers. The plan includes:
- Ensuring that employees receive regular information on hygiene and work from home protocols, in accordance with the advice of the local government
- Increase the use of antibacterial hand disinfectants and towels within the company. Applying visual aids on how to wash hands and work hygienically
- Introduction of software to enable remote working and to actively stimulate working from home
- Support for our field staff with extra PPE and guidance
We review and update the guidelines daily based on the latest advice from the local government.
Keeping our business going – we’re still here for you
We have already taken a number of steps to maintain our service for you, but you may have to wait longer than usual when contacting us or scheduling work.
If that happens, we apologize in advance and promise to fix it as soon as possible.
For the majority of our (end) customers, a safe living and working environment is a precondition for carrying out work or using an object and / or space. To achieve this, we use our expertise to help customers with this.
The senior management team and the Board of Directors of SGI Compliance Netherlands take the coronavirus threat seriously and we take all measures to prepare for and minimize the risk of coronavirus for our team members, our customers and our company.
