In the real estate sector in the Netherlands we have to deal with various obligations, laid down in laws and regulations. Think of usage permits or demolition permits, but also inspections due to insurance requirements in relation to: fire safety, electrical inspections, elevator safety, etc. Building owners have various inspections carried out in their real estate portfolio for this reason, among other things.
VVE Beheer Amsterdam arranges maintenance for more than 1000 Owners’ Associations. To this end, they make a so-called Multi-Year Maintenance Planning (MJOP). VVE Beheer Amsterdam is interested in having multidisciplinary inspections carried out, in which one inspector examines multiple disciplines. The goal of this is efficiency; saving time and money.
VVE Beheer Amsterdam was very happy with our awareness presentation about asbestos and chromium-6. Especially because there are still many questions about chromium-6 and this can lead to unpleasant surprises for painting and renovation work: stagnation in planning and extra unexpected costs.
Awa, together with AkzoNobel, provided a day course for approximately 30 employees of VVE Beheer Amsterdam, which focused on reducing failure costs. The course day was very successful!
