It has been two years since Kiwa Compliance International (formerly Shield Group International left the Kiwa family and was relocated to the investment house LDC. This decision was based on the understanding that Shield Group International’s company would have a better future as an independent company with the dedicated support of an investor, then within the Kiwa family where the Shield activities were actually not part of the core business activities.
The rebranding was recently prepared and on March 17, the new name and corporate identity (not only for the Dutch, but all international activities) was presented: SGI Compliance. See www.sgicompliance.nl. SGI Compliance International now offers a full range of compliance -services in the field of hazardous substances, water and fire safety.
To make the final cut between Kiwa and SGI Compliance official, SGI Compliance Managing Director, Fred Mast and Business Development Director, Ruud Helderop presented the Kiwa board with a cake with the Kiwa and SGI Compliance logo. The cutting of the cake marked the new situation.
The split in no way means that mutual cooperation has also been severed. Collaboration will continue to exist in certain areas via the existing roads in order to be able to optimize services to the market.
