    IHM REGISTER

During the lifecycle of maritime objects, hazardous materials must be identified, detailed and recorded. Data management is indispensable.

SGI Compliance works in accordance with the Hong Kong Convention and EU guidelines. Our HazMat survey reports are crucial throughout the lifecycle: new-build construction, operation, repairs or conversion, recycling and scrapping. The online IHM Register is a unique management software product. It gives accurate, real-time insight based on high-quality, secured data. Accessible online from anywhere, the IHM Register is an effective tool for inspections and recycling and offers proof of sound HazMat management.

    HAZMAT MANAGEMENT

Asbestos, heavy metals such as Chromium (VI) and other hazardous materials used in maritime objects can pose a health hazard.

Experienced in IHM (Inventory of Hazardous Materials), our HazMat experts work in accordance with international guidelines, including those of the International Maritime Organization. Offering global services through our international network, we conduct onshore and offshore surveys into the presence of asbestos, heavy metals and other hazardous materials and subsequently organize safe removal. We are authorized to issue the requisite certificates needed in some ports. These certificates may also be included in a QHSE, maintenance or recycling plan.
